Vörður Roadside Assistance is available at no cost to Grunnur plan customers in the following situations:
The vehicle’s doors or locks are frozen.
The vehicle has run out of fuel.
The car battery is dead and a jump-start is needed.
A tire needs to be changed (a spare tire must be available).
You are locked out of the vehicle and cannot gain access.
If the issue cannot be resolved on-site, your vehicle will be transported to the nearest service garage or, if applicable, to your home for charging — within the designated service areas.
Additionally, Vörður customers receive a 50% discount on Krókur’s towing service rates if towing is required.
