We emphasize job satisfaction, equality, a good working environment, targeted education and training of employees, and a fun workplace where every individual has an impact and makes a difference.
We want to be a workplace people are drawn to, with a positive, motivating environment to work in.
Outstanding graduates have the opportunity to participate in Arion's graduate program and get acquainted with a diverse range of roles within the group.
People spend a significant part of the day at work, so the environment must take their needs into consideration. Comfort is integral to our workplace. Inspiring works of art adorn the walls, and we try to ensure that workspaces have good acoustics.
The canteen at our headquarters features a team of outstanding chefs who prepare a variety of dishes, including meat and fish options, as well as a vegan alternative, all accompanied by a salad bar. We also have a gym, and employees can take a short break with a game of pool, foosball, darts or a quick round in the golf simulator.

Balancing work and personal life can be challenging. We have therefore set clear goals to be a family-friendly workplace and offer both a flexible working environment and a remote work policy.
We ensure that staff receive 80% of their salary during parental leave on average, in addition to operating a daycare facility for employees' children.
More people than ever are choosing to walk, cycle or use public transport for their commute. We welcome this and offer a commuting allowance to employees who use environmentally friendly ways of getting to and from work.
We also cover the use of Hopp electric scooters during working hours, which is ideal if someone needs to get to a nearby meeting quickly. At the headquarters, there are over 50 electric charging stations where staff can charge their cars.

Skjöldur, Arion's staff association, doesn't just run holiday homes across the country. It also runs a variety of clubs – so all employees should be able to find something that suits them.
Listvinir is the largest club operating within Arion, with over 500 members. The club's goal is to foster interest and knowledge of culture and the arts among staff, as well as to support artists.
The club not only organises interesting lectures and courses, but twice a year so-called art evenings are held. These evenings give club members the opportunity to acquire beautiful and unique works – if luck is on their side.
