Vörður is collaborating with Aðstoð og Öryggi ehf. on on-site assistance for traffic accidents in the Greater Reykjavík Area.
Aðstoð og Öryggi’s employees arrive at the scene and assist with filling out a damage report, as well as taking photos of the scene and vehicles.
The service number is 578 9090, and the service is free of charge for all Vörður customers, whether they caused the accident or not.
The service is provided every weekday between 7:45 and 18:30, but please note that for the time being the service is only available in the Greater Reykjavík Area.
Aðstoð og Öryggi is an independent and neutral service company that sends all information about the damage electronically to Vörður within 24 hours of the assistance being provided. This ensures faster claim processing. Aðstoð og Öryggi’s employees are specially trained with experience in dealing with collisions and accidents. A&Ö employees are bound by confidentiality. Aðstoð og Öryggi’s service assumes that there are no accidents involving people. In such cases, you should always call the police emergency number, 112.
It is important that a report about the accident is made on site. By delaying reporting, unnecessary risks are taken regarding the reliability of the report.
