Here you can find information about repair shops that have agreements with us, where you can have your vehicle repaired.
Please contact your chosen repair shop to schedule an initial damage assessment. The repair shop will inspect the damage, take photos, prepare a repair estimate, and submit it to Vörður for approval. Once approved, the repair shop will arrange a repair appointment with you.
Vörður covers the cost of a rental car (Category A) for up to 5 days while your vehicle is being repaired. Many repair shops can assist in arranging a rental car. Information about rental car providers with agreements with Vörður can be found here.
If your vehicle was undrivable and removed from the scene, please contact our claims assessors by phone at +354 514 1177 or via email at bkaup@vordur.is. They will inspect the vehicle at the earliest opportunity and keep you informed about the next steps.
